زيارة وفد نوادي روتاري فرنسا لمستشفى جمعية الخدمات الاجتماعية (دار العجزة)

The Social Services Hospital welcomed a delegation from the Rotary Clubs of France, headed by Michel Duran, Chair of the (France–Lebanon Inter-Country Committee) and Past District Governor, and Jean-Paul Nargoulé, Past President.

The delegation was received by Dr. Hassan Al-Khatib, President of the “Social Services Association”; Eng. Ziad Malak, General Manager of the Social Services Hospital; and Dr. Leila Alameddine Karami, Chair of the Association’s Women’s Support Committee and a member of the Rotary Club of Tripoli, along with several members of the Committee.

The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Jamal Bitar, President of the Rotary Club of Tripoli, together with a number of Club members.

During the visit, the delegation toured several departments of the Hospital, including the Elderly Care Section, Physiotherapy Center, and the Kitchen, where they learned more about the key services and healthcare interventions provided to the Hospital’s residents.

In his remarks, the head of the delegation expressed his appreciation to the Hospital’s administration and staff for their dedication to caring for the residents, and praised the high standard of services provided across various areas.

The visit also highlighted the key support initiatives and projects carried out at the Social Services Hospital in partnership with the Rotary Club of Tripoli, including projects aimed at improving the Hospital’s water systems, equipping the Physiotherapy Center with specialized equipment in 2002, providing specialized food-preparation equipment for the Kitchen Department in 2011, and supporting the renovation and rehabilitation of the dental clinic. The visit reflects the longstanding partnership between the Social Services Hospital and Rotary, and the shared commitment to supporting sustainable healthcare services and improving the quality of life of the Hospital’s residents.
